  • How do I get a quote?
It's quite simple: Order a sample pack from my Etsy store if you wish - I recommend you do this to see the colours/finishes in person! The best way to get in touch for a quote is through the contact page on this website , as there are a few things I need to know! You can also however email amy@sixpencecreative.co.uk, or message the Sixpence Creative social media accounts - just let me know which designs you are interested in and the details requested on the contact page. I will ask anything further I need to know, then send over a quote within 5 days (within 10 days if you have requested any bespoke elements). Your quote will list all items (e.g. invites/envelopes/wax seals) separately, so you can pick and choose what works with your budget.
  • How do I order, and how long will it take?
Great, you want to go ahead! We'll finalise any details from your quote, and I will send an invoice You send any further information I need before starting work on your designs (e.g. guest names, details of locations), then depending on studio space you should receive a digital proof via email within 5 days Please check all artwork carefully, and check again! If changes need to be made I will send amended proofs back via email within 5 days Sign off your designs I'll get to work creating your stationery! Depending on the level of hand-finishing, your items should be posted within four weeks of final sign-off. I will let you know when they have been dispatched, so you will know when to expect them (see delivery times). Timings can vary from order to order, depending on the amount of personalisation, hand-crafting and amends. Save the Date orders can be with you within a couple of weeks of sign-off, whereas full invitation sets will take longer. I recommend ordering at least a month before you need your items, to be on the safe side! Please note, fully bespoke orders will take longer than the above timescales and vary per order; I can give an indication of timescales when providing a quote.
  • What if I need to give my day and evening guests different information?
You may need two sets of invitations or information cards, with different details for guests invited to the ceremony and reception (day), and those invited to the reception (evening) only. In this case, when we're working out your quote just let me know how many you need in each set and I can quote accordingly. It is also possible to do this with separate "Save the Dates" and "Save the Evening" cards if desired.
  • Can I have different colours than the photos shown?
My stationery collections tend to feature colours which work particularly well with the theme e.g. a red wallet and stamp effect for a telegram, or gorgeous Bridgerton Blue envelopes for a society paper! However if you have a specific colour scheme in mind that you would like to match to, please do feel free to send me a link or upload a file when you request a quote, for example of your bridesmaid dresses or chosen flowers. I will be more than happy to look for alternative envelopes, different cardstock for wallets or different wax seal colours! Please note that colours appear differently on screen to when they are printed; your proofs will be supplied digitally so I recommend you print in colour to check you're happy with the shade. I will send photos/videos of any bespoke or customised stationery while working on your order, if it helps show textures or colours which vary from those shown.
  • Do you offer bespoke designs?
I currently take on a limited number of bespoke designs each year - just get in touch for a quote. If you would like stationery based on one of my existing designs but with some changes, I can provide a quote for a semi-bespoke design. As a rough guide, changing something small or supplying different stationery in colours could be free, changing fonts could be £10 and creating a new design element could start from £20. If you are happy with the quote, once payment is made I will start work on your customised design and it will follow the usual process.
  • Can you adapt your wedding stationery for other events?
Absolutely! Whether you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary or other life event, Sixpence Creative collections can be adapted to fit the occasion. Just drop me a line and let me know what stationery or decorations you would like and what event you're celebrating.
  • What is your pricing and do you have a minimum order quantity?
I quote every order individually to reflect exactly what you are looking for! Invitations can start as low as £1, envelopes from 10p, printing names/addresses on envelopes from 10p each, wax seals from 55p, custom map design from £10 - I price very competitively while using high quality materials. *If you order your Invitations from me, after purchasing Save the Dates from me, then I will give a returning customer discount!* All quotes are free of charge and completely non committal. My minimum order quantity for Save the Dates and Invitations is generally 30, but do get in touch if you're having a smaller gathering, and I'll see what I can do. I prefer payment via bank transfer to my business bank account. On orders over £150 you can pay 50% of the total amount to begin design work and ordering materials, with the remaining 50% due before designs are printed and hand finished. Alternatively you can pay 100% upfront (required on orders under £150).

Sustainabiliy
Sustainability and the environment

I believe that good products shouldn't cost the earth. I create the majority of my stationery in-house, which helps me to source high-quality and sustainable paper and cardstock as much as possible; you can see the materials used on my product pages. I also use vegan friendly sealing wax. If I do use any professional printing I source it from a business committed to sustainability, that is accredited by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). If you would like to make sure your order uses e.g. recycled paper or card, then just let me know

I take care to make sure my packaging is eco-friendly. The packaging I use is from UK suppliers and includes:

  • Cardboard envelopes and boxes that are recyclable and made from FSC certified renewable resources

  • 100% recycled kraft paper roll that is recyclable, biodegradable and compostable

  • 100% recycled tissue paper that is recyclable, biodegradable and compostable

  • Recyclable eco kraft paper tape with natural rubber-based adhesive

  • 100% recycled kraft card tags

  • Biodegradable and compostable clear sealers made from cellulose

  • Recycled white grain card

  • Natural and biodegradable jute twine and bakers twine

A2/A1 size signage may be packaged differently to the above, due to the availability of packaging materials in those sizes.
